Classic Vehicles

This year, for the first time, there will be a display of stunning classic cars and tractors. Come and see the survivors of a more stylish era of motoring. Today's cars may be more reliable but decide for yourself if they can compete with these models in engineering innovation, designers' vision and sheer elegance. Ask the owners what's under the bonnet - and what it takes to keep these charmers on the road.

This 1947 Ferguson P3 Tractor (below) was rescued and restored from a field in Cumbria.

1956 Oldsmobile 98 - This is the original car, never been restored, Ian has been the proud owner since 2007. It has  a 5.4 litre V8 Rocket engine with a four speed jetaway automatic gearbox, electric seats, power steering, windows and aerial. It wil only play Elvis on the radio if you try to play anything else it just turns off. The Oldsmobile has taken part in the famous Woodward Cruise in Detroit. It has won a lot of trophies the most recent being 'Best in Show' at Classics, Corbridge 2014, where over 600 cars took part.

1966 Ford Mustang. This was fully restored in Florida, owned since 2010. It has a 3.2 litre straight 6 engine and a 3 speed dog leg gearbox.

This 1963 Morris Minor belongs to Michael. After passing his test he used it to go to school in it! That would surely get him noticed!

Even the dogs enjoy the classics.
